The final paving for Phase Two of the Shadow Mountain Improvement Project was pushed back a few days, and will now be finished early next week. Moffat County Director of Developmental Services Roy Tipton says the work will take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. He says the contractor, Elam Construction, will also improve some of the paving on 9th Street, from Aspen to the bottom of the hill. Phase three of the project, which is also the final phase, is expected to begin in March, weather permitting. Funding for that portion has already been approved, so crews will be able to get to work as soon as the weather allows. When the project is finished, residents of the neighborhood will enjoy better water pressure, new water and sewer lines, and improvements in curbs and gutters.
