Parks and Wildlife Seeks Public Comment on Strategic Plan

colorado parksColorado Parks and Wildlife has kicked off a public comment period for the development of the 2015 Strategic Plan. Public input is vitally important to the process. CPW’s strategic plan sets a vision for the future and defines goals, priorities and strategies for managing Colorado’s state parks, wildlife and outdoor recreation. The strategic plan aims to improve CPW’s efficiency, responsiveness and services by helping the agency focus on a strategic vision and capitalize on agency strengths and opportunities. With the new strategic plan, CPW hopes to craft a shared direction through participation and feedback from the public, stakeholders, staff and the Parks and Wildlife Commission. There is a public comment form available online. Public workshops will also be held throughout the state for you to share your thoughts in-person.  A schedule of the upcoming workshops appears below.
