One Dies After Being Ejected During Roll-Over

A single vehicle roll-over this weekend resulted in the 18th death so far this year on Wyoming highways. 39-year-old Heather Wells of Casper was pulling a U-Haul trailer in her pickup on I-25 near Glenrock Saturday, when she lost control while going over an icy bridge. Her vehicle then left the highway where it rolled multiple times. Wells, who was restrained during the accident, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Her passenger, 55-year-old Linda Howard, also of Casper, was not wearing her seat-belt and was ejected from the vehicle. Howard was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18 highway fatalities so far this year in Wyoming are below the 21 to occur during the same time period last year, but are above the 11 deaths to occur in 2016.
