One person died Tuesday in a single vehicle roll-over on Routt County Road 33, south of Steamboat. 61-year-old Theodore Storm from Oak Creek was driving when he lost control while rounding a curve, resulting in his vehicle rolling multiple times. While rolling, the vehicle struck a fence, a sign and a solid fence post. Storm was not wearing a seat-belt when the accident occurred and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. Drug and alcohol use is not suspected, however, excessive speed is being investigated as a contributing factor in the crash.
