The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting death that occurred Sunday afternoon, north of Rock Springs. According to Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell, the suspect in the shooting, 41-year-old Stephen Taranovich is in custody. Tarnovich has been charged with manslaughter for his role in the incident. The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Danielle Martin of Rock Springs. An autopsy of Martin’s body has been scheduled for Tuesday.
