Northwest Colorado Health’s Efforts Recognized

The Northwest Colorado Health offices in Craig and Steamboat were recognized recently for their work in reducing their patients’ high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, tobacco use and unintended pregnancy. Northwest Colorado Health was recognized through the Center of Disease Control’s 6/18 Initiative, which aims at reducing high health care cost in the US. Northwest Colorado Health was one of only 29 out of the 277 Community Health Centers in the US to be recognized. For more information on the 6/18 initiative, click here.
