TODAY IN BASKETBALL:

In 3-A:
Moffat County’s girls defeated Olathe 46-41 for the District Championship!
The Moffat County boys fell to Roaring Fork 59-54 for the District Championship.

In 2-A (all games at Paonia High School):
The Rangely girls lost to Hotchkiss 40-38, taking 4th place.

The Meeker girls edged Paonia 61-58 for the District 5 Championship.

The Hayden boys beat Meeker 64-51 for the District 5 Championship.

At the Wyoming 1A State Tournament:
The Little Snake River Valley girls fell to Upton 60-45 to take 4th place.
The Little Snake River Valley boys battle Ten Sleep for the State Championship at 5pm.


Yesterday in Basketball:

At the Wyoming 1-A state tournament:
The Little Snake River Valley girls fell to Lingle-Fort Laramie 51-49
The Little Snake River Valley boys beat Burlington 51-49

DISTRICT 5 – BOYS SEMIFINALS
FINAL:  #2 Meeker beat #3 West Grand 68-48
FINAL:  #1 Hayden beat #4 Paonia 60-47

DISTRICT 5 – GIRLS SEMIFINALS
FINAL:  #2 Meeker beat #3 Hotchkiss 42-29
FINAL:  #1 Paonia beat #4 Rangely  38-34

In 3-A District Semifinals:
Moffat County’s girls slipped by Roaring Fork 39-38
Moffat County’s boys edged Aspen 59-52

In 4-A:
The Steamboat girls fell to Windsor 37-24 in the second round of the state playoffs.
