Northwest Colorado Health recently received a Certificate of Achievement for providing high quality and improved healthcare coverage for patients at their clinics in Craig and Steamboat. The certificate was awarded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, which oversees 1,400 Community Health Centers across the nation. Northwest Colorado Health is in the top 30 percent of the health centers in the country for service and quality. The organization’s Community Health Centers have also earned accreditation as a Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This designation is given to Health Centers that demonstrate a focus on patient centered care, while seeking to strengthen relationships between patients and their clinical team to improve patient experience and health outcomes while lowering costs.
