The water lines at the Moffat County Fairgrounds will be getting an upgrade by the end of April. After receiving four bids to repair the lines at the Fairgrounds, the Moffat County Commissioners at their meeting yesterday awarded the project to the lowest bidder, X Field Services of Craig. The project is expected to cost around $80 thousand. Commissioner Ray Beck says after the water line break that occurred at the fairgrounds last fall, it’s become a top priority for the county to repair the water lines prior to this summer’s scheduled events. The fairground facility is expected to be without water for ten days while the work is taking place.
