New Colorado Minimum Wage For 2016

MINIMUM WAGEEffective January 1st the Colorado Minimum Wage reflected the annual inflation adjustment and was raised to $8.31 per hour.  Tipped employees must earn a cash wage of at least $5.29 per hour.  The Colorado General Assembly also passed a bill last year that will increase salaries for Colorado lawmakers and the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, and treasurer that will be effective in 2019. Those raises will be calcuated as a percentage of whatever the chief justice of the state supreme court and county court judges are paid that year. County officials will see raises based on their size and other factors.
