MRH Looks To Become A Federally Qualified Health Center

The Moffat County Commissioners and The Craig City Council signed letters of support for Memorial Regional Health at their meetings yesterday endorsing the hospitals effort to be designated a Federally Qualified Health Center. Federally Qualified Health Centers are community-based organizations that provide comprehensive primary care and preventive care, including health, oral, mental health and substance abuse services to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. If approved, the Qualified Health Center classification would also change the hospitals reimbursement status through Medicaid and Medicare.
