The Colorado Unemployment rate increased slightly between November and December, according to a new report from Colorado Department of Labor. The unemployment rate increased .2% to 3.1% over that time period. The National unemployment rate went unchanged between November and December, remaining at 4.1%. Last year, the average work week in Colorado remained at 33.2 hours with average wages increasing by more than a dollar to $28.09. According to Department of Labor Numbers, the unemployment rates in Rio Blanco and Moffat County both increased between November and December, with Moffat County’s unemployment rate growing from 3% to 3.7%, and Rio Blanco County’s unemployment rate up to 4.1% from 3.6%.
