Keith Gille, who has been the head coach of the Moffat County football team since 2014, has announced he will be resigning from the position. Gillie handed in a resignation letter to Athletic Director Rich Houghton late last week and told athletes to his departure Monday. While talking about his departure with Wild West Radio, Coach Gillie said he was honored to coach the kids at Moffat County High School and thanked his athletes’ for making a “mediocre coach” look good. Gillie also thanked the community and the families for their support during his time as coach. Though he is giving up his duties as head football coach and will no longer be part of the baseball coaching staff, Gillie says he plans to continue teaching English at the High School.
