Three meetings will take place next week to discuss the Water Plans for the Yampa, White and Green River Basins. John Stulp the “Interbasin Compact Committee Director” and a special water policy advisor to Governor Hickenlooper will be at the meetings to discuss water issues in the area. The first meeting will be Monday evening from 5:30 to 7 in Steamboat at the City Council Chambers. The others will take place Tuesday, the first from noon to 1:30 in Rangely at the CNCC campus. The second meeting will be from 5 to 6:30 at the Moffat County Court House in Craig. The public is encouraged to attend the meetings to receive information on the plans, and to comment on water issues in the area.
