The Bear’s Ears Tea Party Patriots will hold a meeting tonight to talk about the latest federal issues facing Moffat County. Those include the situation at ColoWyo Coal Mine and federal land management plans that are intended to keep the Greater Sage Grouse off of the Endangered Species List. ColoWyo is in the midst of an environmental lawsuit brought forth by WildEarth Guardians over its South Taylor Pit Permit. The BLM and the U.S. Forest Service have put forth sage grouse plans that would allow very little productive activity on the land. Tonight’s meeting will be town hall style. It takes place at the Center of Craig at 7.
