The Maybell Bridge is done. The Moffat County Commissioners, yesterday, announced that repairs to the bridge have been finished well ahead of schedule. The commissioners expected repairs to take about 6 weeks, which was a concern for some who would be cut off from Highway 40. Foot traffic was still allowed while repairs were being made, but vehicle traffic was prohibited. The repairs took only about 2 weeks, saving the county thousands of dollars in projected man-hours. The commissioners also announced that work on Aspen Street, from 9th to Willow, in the Shadow Mountain Subdivision will begin tomorrow, weather permitting. A temporary water system will be set up. County officials say water pressure will drop to the homes in that area during the work.
