A Grand Junction man took police on a high speed chase Tuesday night. Authorities received a report that 38-year-old Trenton Miller had made suicidal and homicidal threats and was currently driving to the Delta/Montrose area armed with a gun. Police later spotted Miller’s pickup driving on Highway 50 in Mesa County and were able to use spike strips to disable his vehicle. Miller ran from his vehicle but was caught and taken into custody Wednesday morning. He was charged with Felony Vehicular Eluding and a number of misdemeanor charges.
