Man Who Died In Yampa River Identified

The 22-year-old man who died after jumping in the Yampa River Sunday night has been identified by Steamboat authorities.  Arman Quereshi, who had reportedly moved to Steamboat this winter, was contacted by Steamboat Police after he was accused of attempting to steal a purse earlier in the evening. While being interviewed, Quereshi ran off and jumped into the Yampa River. His body was found submerged in the river Monday afternoon, near the Steamboat Golf Club.
