A Steamboat man has been taken into custody by Steamboat Police, charged with felony sexual assault on a child and felony aggravated incest . 39-year-old Timothy Lormond, who was taken into custody last month, was extradited from New Jersey to Routt County. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in the Steamboat area over an eleven day period last July. Lormond fled Northwest Colorado with assistance from his mother, 63-year-old Anna Bronner of Steamboat, in an attempt to avoid charges. Bonner was arrested on December 7th on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime. Following Lormond’s arrest, a representative with the Steamboat Police Department said the arrest should help provide the victim in the case an increased sense of safety. Lormond appeared in court Tuesday and had his bail set at $500,000. Pictured Timothy Lormond, photo courtesy of the Routt County Jail, click to enlarge.
