Man Arrested After Masked Burglary

A Steamboat man was taken into custody after a burglary in Steamboat last week. 19 year old Colten Crawford admitted to being involved in the burglary after he was taken into custody Saturday night. A man called police after he was reportedly assaulted by three men in ski masks at a Steamboat home. Crawford and two others allegedly beat the man up and stole a jar of marijuana, worth around $300. Crawford has been charged with felony first-degree burglary and theft. Police are still developing and looking for information on the two other individuals involved. According to Commander Dopplick with the Steamboat Police Department, Crawford, whose license has a Lakewood address, is believed to have been living in the Steamboat area since 2015.
