A Montana man was arrested earlier this week after he got into an altercation with Craig Police. Officers contacted 57-year-old Darren Webster at the Craig Walmart Monday, where he was accused of trying to steal a number of items. When officers attempted to arrest Webster, he resisted, and began to fight them. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault on an officer, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and theft. Webster’s bond was set at $20,000. He remains in custody at the Moffat County Jail.
