The Moffat County School Board is inviting parents and community members to a special meeting Thursday to talk about the district’s financial situation. The board plans to go over their financial situation with those in attendance, present some ideas for dealing with a decreasing budget, and then ask the audience for ideas. Superintendent Brent Curtice says it’s important the board hears from the community. It has been suggested the board could go to the voters for more funding. The meeting will be held Thursday night at 7 in the Moffat County High School Auditorium. For more information, call 826-6261.
