A free clinic for those interested in learning more about small claims court proceedings will be held this week in Steamboat. A small claims court allows people to bring small disputes regarding money, property, contracts or agreements in front of a judge without hiring an attorney. The clinic will
cover things to consider before filing a case, how to start a small claims case, what to do if you are facing a small claims dispute, and other subjects. The clinic will be this Thursday night at the Bud Werner Memorial Library from 5:30 to 7 and is open to all. For information contact Kristi Glawe at 870-2317.
