The football schedule is being finalized by CHSAA for the Moffat County Bulldogs. Week One games will be scheduled between Oct. 8-10. Moffat County then hosts Englewood, before heading to Elizabeth, followed by two home games against Woodland Park and Delta, and the final league game away against Middle Park. Meeker is on the road for week one, playing Ignacio, followed by a home game against Gunnison in Week Two. Soroco’s first game is against Sanford before traveling to Rangely the following week. Hayden is on the road against Mancos before hosting West Grand in Week Two. CHSAA reports that 80 percent of all schools in the state will have football games starting Oct. 8. That’s 218 teams who will play in the fall. 58 teams have opted to play in the spring, and that includes the Steamboat Sailors.
