The Moffat County Road Department has retired their crusher for the season. With the snow not set to let up anytime soon, it made for an easy decision to call it for the season.

A 3.2-million-dollar expansion project for Yampa Valley Regional Airport got final approval during the Routt County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Tuesday. Most of the money is coming from Federal and State funding sources according to online documents. The new space is meant to reduce congestion, increase capacity and improve the flow of travelers.

A former Aspen skiing exec has been sentenced to six years in prison for stealing skis and merchandise from the company, then reselling them online. This happened for more than a decade. The totals could be upwards of six million dollars.

CNCC is hosting another “Spartan Talk” a week from today. This one is going to focus on nursing school with Chandler Wilkins, a nursing student at CNCC, set to present the ins and out of the program. Again, that is Wednesday, January 29th in room 185 on the Craig campus of CNCC.
