Kinkaid to Advise Statewide Candidates About Energy Policy

John KinkaidMoffat County Commissioner John Kinkaid is in Denver today, looking out for coal interests.  Kinkaid says he has been invited to meet with Colorado Mining Officials this morning to discuss the industry’s efforts.  His hope is that he will come away with an idea of how to better help the mines in the area.  This afternoon, Kinkaid will be at the Independence Institute helping to brief 40 candidates running for state office on energy policy.  He says he is thrilled to be able to explain the importance of fossil fuels to the state and local economies to future leaders.  He says while briefing those candidates he will be discussing the harmful effects of past bills such as House Bill 10-1365 and Senate Bill 252.  Pictured:  John Kinkaid
