Heavy snow over the weekend covered sidewalks and streets throughout Northwest Colorado. After the storm, Craig Firefighters noticed homeowners who had covered their neighborhood fire hydrant with snow. Fire Hydrants need to remain clear at all times to ensure quick access during an emergency. Craig Fire and Rescue is asking residents to check fire hydrants in their neighborhood to make sure there is at least three feet of space all the way around the hydrant.
