There are a couple of June events that will have energy interests focused on Craig. The Air Quality Control Commission plans to hold their summer retreat in Craig June 17th through the 19th. This will be the first time the Commission has visited the area. The retreat will include workshops, tours of Tri-State and Trapper Mine, and a public meeting the night of the 18th, where the group will take public comment. Also this month, an energy roundtable will take place in Craig. Representative Scott Tipton plans to be in attendance for that. That event will also include a public forum at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavillion. More details about both events will be released as the dates approach.
