Boating season is approaching and Colorado Parks and Wildlife reminds people that they must get their boat inspected before being taken out on Colorado waters if the boat was used outside the state last year. CPW requires any boat that was launched outside of the state of Colorado to be inspected for any aquatic nuisance species before being put into Colorado water. The best way to prevent the spread of these aquatic nucisance species is to make sure that your boat and gear are drained, cleaned and dried after every use.
