Highway 40 was closed for about half an hour Friday morning near mile marker 99 east of Craig, due to a three vehicle accident. Two of the cars involved ended up in the ditch on the side of the roadway, while another vehicle was disabled on the road. According to a representative with the Colorado State Patrol, some of the people involved sustained minor injuries. Slick roads are believed to have contributed to the crash.
