Help Clean Up Craig

The City of Craig and Moffat County host Spring Clean up Days this weekend. As part of the clean up, the county is offering free landfill access Wednesday through Sunday.  All loose trash must be bagged to be dropped off at the landfill. There will also be trash receptacles at the recycling center and in front of the old Safeway building Saturday and Sunday where trash can be deposited. Those same days, the city will be accepting old tires, appliances and batteries at the North end of Craig City Park. Interstate Battery will donate $5 to Relay for Life for every commercial and auto battery that is received. Finally, the City will accept E-Waste at Craig City Hall today through Thursday. All electronics, microwaves, TV’s, computers, screens, laptops, printer and copiers can be dropped off and will be disposed of for a small fee. Commercially generated waste is prohibited at all Spring Clean up Days drop off locations. Volunteers are needed  Saturday and Sunday to assist at trash drop off locations and to help the elderly conduct clean ups around their homes. Volunteers will receive free lunch and a tee-shirt, to volunteer, call the number in the flyer below, click to enlarge.
