Heart Attack Victim Recovered By Helicopter

A Pennsylvania man, who was bow hunting with his family in north Routt County, died from a heart attack yesterday morning. 69-year-old Robert Martz was reportedly hiking along the Greenville Mine Trail east of Clark when the incident occurred. Attempts to revive Martz using CPR were unsuccessful. A representative with the Routt County Sheriff’s office said a helicopter had to be brought in to recover Martz’s body, do to the fact that he was in a remote location when the heart attack occurred.
