The grant has been approved for Stage three of the Shadow Mountain Improvement Project. Moffat county’s Roy Tipton says Phase two will be done in early October, and Phase three will begin next spring. Phase three consists of Sequoia Avenue, from 9th Street to the bypass. The grant is for $1.4 million and comes from the Department of Local Affairs. The project consists of the replacement of water and sewer lines, as well as curb and gutter improvements.
