Gardner, Udall Hold 2nd Debate this Week

mark-udall-300gardnerIt’s another day, another debate in Colorado’s nationally watched U.S. Senate race. Democratic Senator Mark Udall and his Republican challenger, Representative Cory Gardner, clashed yesterday in their second debate in as many days. Gardner noted Udall’s close ties to President Barack Obama, and Udall tried to remind voters of conservative legislation Gardner supported in the House. That meant the same arguments over the Affordable Care Act, the government shutdown and costly energy regulations that have dominated the airwaves since Gardner jumped into the race in late February. The two candidates will meet for another debate in Pueblo on Thursday night before a final debate next week in Denver. Ballots start arriving in mailboxes next week so Coloradans can begin voting in a race that may determine which party controls the Senate.  Pictured:  left-Mark Udall; right-Cory Gardner
