Gardner Helps Pass Highway Funding Bill

gardnerYesterday, Congressman Cory Gardner (CO-04) joined an overwhelming bipartisan majority of the House of Representatives to pass the Highway and Transportation Funding Act of 2014. The legislation directs $10.8 billion in extra funding to the Highway Trust Fund to finance surface transportation projects such as roads, transit and safety programs.  Gardner says the bill will help fund such projects as the I-25 expansion project and the C-470 improvement project.  In a statement, Gardner said “The allocation will keep the Highway Trust Fund programs funded through May of 2015, which will give Congress the time to develop a long-term solution.” Pictured:  Cory Gardner
