Representative Cory Gardner is calling on Senator Mark Udall to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline project. The project is expected to create around half a million jobs in the U.S. Udall has repeatedly voted against the project. At one time, the Environmental Protection Agency opposed the plan, but the project was rerouted to avoid a major aquifer in Nebraska. That prompted the EPA to give the project its nod of approval. Although it’s not clear why, the Obama Administration still opposes the plan. Another vote comes up tomorrow, and Gardner is calling on Udall toreevaluate how many jobs could be created through the project. Gardner is running for Udall’s Senate seat.
