More Funding For MOCO Broadband Improvements

The Craig City Council and Moffat County Commissioners both awarded $12,500 to the Craig and Moffat County Economic Development Partnership to go towards their community broadband initiative. This money will fund the first phase of the project, which includes developing an engineering blue print which identifies how to connect existing broadband infrastructure in Moffat County into a cohesive loop that runs throughout the city and county, eventually connecting the loop to broadband infrastructure that spans the northwest portion of the state. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership will return to the Commissioners and the City Council to request additional funds, when the engineering planning stage of the project is complete.
