A Sweetwater County fugitive was arrested earlier this week in Montana. 18-year-old Hayden Riggs of Green River ran away from a youth home in Sheridan last month, where he was serving time for his role in kidnapping and assaulting an employee at the Sheridan Youth Crisis Center in November of 2015. Riggs and his roommate reportedly tied the woman up with electrical cord around her wrists, a belt around her ankles, and a sheet around her throat and head, in an attempt to steal a car to escape the Youth Crisis Center. Police located Riggs near Glendive, Montana late Monday night. He was taken into custody without incident.
