Back roads in Sweetwater County are still being affected by flooding. In particular, drivers should use extreme caution when driving in the Red Desert region northeast of Black Rock. Spring runoff and flooding has resulted in multiple washouts in the area, making some of the county roads too dangerous to drive. Crews will work over the next several weeks to remedy the situation. Until then, drivers should remain alert for washouts and unfavorable road conditions. A map of the affected areas is available below.
