Two finalists have been announced for the CEO position at the Memorial Hospital at Craig. The Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees announced yesterday that Dan Bonk and Craig J. Marks were the two finalists chosen for the position. The board began its search for a CEO back in March, when it was announced that the Hospital was ending its management agreement with Quorum Health Services. The hospital CEO had been an employee of Quorum since 1987 when the management agreement took effect. After an extensive review process the board was able to narrow down the finalists to Bonk and Marks. According to Chairman Forrest Luke, the board focused on finding highly qualified candidates with the skill, passion, ability and vision to move the hospital foreword. Bonk was most recently the Aspen Valley Hospital CEO, in Aspen Colorado, he resigned that position in January. Marks left his position as President of Mark Twain Medical Center in Summit Wisconsin in December. Pictured on the left Dan Bonk, on the right Craig J. Marks.
