Final Day To Donate To Holiday Drive

The final day of the 19th annual 93-7/102-3 KRAI and 55 Country Holiday Drive is going on now outside the Centennial Mall. Hundreds of people stopped by yesterday to get the Holiday Drive off to a great start with their donations. While yesterdays donations were numerous, there is still a great need for more. Traditionally the 2nd day of the Holiday Drive is busier than the first, and organizers are hopeful that trend continues this year, as requests for assistance from the charities benefiting from the holiday drive are numerous. Santa Claus and volunteers are out in front of the Mall now to take your donations to benefit the Interfaith Food Bank of Craig, Advocates Crisis Support Services, Christmas for Kids, or Christmas for Seniors. 100% of the donations received will go directly to benefit these organizations. Items needed are new unwrapped toys, gifts for senior citizens, non-perishable food and of course cash donations are always appreciated. The Holiday Drive is being broadcast live on 93-7 102-3 KRAI and online at KRAI.COM. Tune in throughout the day to hear Christmas music and musical performances from local musicians and school groups. If you would like to help, but aren’t sure what to donate, a list of the specific items needed is available by following the link, or can be obtained by calling the number in this story at KRAI.COM.
