Steamboat’s 2017 community survey should have arrived in the mail by now. The city is asking those that received them to return the surveys as promptly as possible in the prepaid envelope. Surveys were mailed to a randomly selected group of residents and second home owners. The 20 question survey addresses quality of life, service levels, governmental performance, recreational activities and other issues. The surveys provide a snapshot as to what the community thinks is going well, what can be improved and how they believe the city should proceed on various matters. Results will be tabulated and compared to 2015 statistics. The analysis will be released later this summer.
