A single vehicle rollover crash last night on Highway 40, about 25 miles west of Kremmling, took the life of a teenage boy. Troopers responded to the scene and determined that a 16 year old boy from Kremmling, was traveling on Highway 40 in a pick-up truck. He lost control on icy roads, skidded off the side of the road and down an embankment. The truck rolled multiple times. The driver was wearing his seatbelt, but sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The Colorado State Patrol would like to remind drivers that road conditions can change quickly this time of year, and to always wear your safety belt when traveling on Colorado’s roadways.
