USDA Colorado Farm Service Agency (FSA) along with Colorado State University (CSU) Extension will host multiple Farm Bill meetings and producers are urged to attend. FSA and CSU Extension will discuss the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) programs which provide revenue and price loss payments to eligible producers for the 2014 through 2018 crop years. The 2014 Farm Bill ushers in one of the most significant reforms to U.S. farm programs in decades. Additionally, FSA will discuss the Non-insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP). NAP provides producers the option to purchase basic catastrophic insurance (CAT) and now includes buy-up coverage options. One of those meetings will be held in Craig. It takes place December 16th at 6 at the Moffat County Extension Office. For more information, call 720-544-2876.
