Link Crew Freshman Orientation

First Annual Link Crew Freshman Orientation on Wednesday, August 20th from 1pm to 5pm in the Moffat County High School gymnasium. The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from Middle School to High School a positive one. Seniors and juniors will be serving as leaders and mentors to the freshman. Bowling Fundraiser

The Humane Society of Moffat County is having a Bowling Fundraiser on Saturday, August 16, starting at 6 at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center in Craig. The cost is $25 per bowler with 4 bowlers per lane. Can register as individual, couple or team of 4. First come, first serve – only 16 lanes to fill. Bears Ears Tea Party Family Fun

The Bears Ears Tea Party Patriots are having an afternoon of family fun on Saturday, August 16th from 4pm to 8pm at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Co-Ed Benefit Softball Tournament

August 16 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

There is a co-ed benefit softball tournament on Saturday, August 16th at 9am at Loudy Simpson Softball fields.   The tournament will include a silent auction, home-run derby, and concessions.   All of the proceeds will go to the Vallarta’s restaurant families (Pereyra/Nunez) to help with the large costs associated with the recent tragedy.  The registration fee is $200 per team.  The deadline for team entries and silent auction donations is August 10th.   Contact: Megan (406) 690-4991 or Loy(970) 326-9894.  …
