Health Fair in Dinosaur

October 17 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will host a Health Fair at the County Building on Friday, October 17 from 9:30 am—1:30 pm (drop‐in, no appointment needed). Free Cardiovascular Screenings will be offered including Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, glucose, blood pressure, BMI and overall cardiovascular health score. Fasting is encouraged, but not required. Most immunizations (including flu) for all ages will be available. Please bring your insurance card and your immunization records. River Queens Annual Program

The “River Queens”, a women’s barbershop chorus, will present their annual program,  Sunday,  Oct. 12th at 2:00 pm in the music room at the Little Snake River Valley School in Baggs, WY.  Other entertainment will include: Margo Pedrick and son Anthony Limon and local musician, Jake Fleming. The Friends of NRA Banquet

National Take Back Initiative

The National Take Back Initiative (NTBI) for prescription drugs will take place on Saturday, September 27th, 2014, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Centennial Mall parking lot in Craig. This event will provide a great opportunity for those individuals with personal prescriptions who missed the previous events or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of them. Community Animal Response Team Meeting

Moffat County Extension and Moffat County Emergency Management are hosting a Community Animal Response Team (CART) meeting  Thursday, September 25th @ the Extension Office at 6:30 pm. The CART team is designed to help with any animal emergencies in the county and work with local emergency response crews.
