Local elections clerks will start mailing out ballots today for the upcoming November election. Those that haven’t yet registered to vote, can still do so online. That must be done by the 27th of this month to count towards this year’s election. Early voting at the polls takes place October 20th through November 4th. November 4th is Election Day, which means all mail-in ballots must be received by 7 that night. The two hottest races in Colorado this year are the gubernatorial race between John Hickenlooper and Bob Beauprez, and the senatorial race between Mark Udall and Cory Gardner. Some say the latter could be pivotal in determining control of the U.S. Senate. If you have questions regarding this year’s election process, call your local County Elections Clerk.
