Moffat County took another step forward this week in its quest for economic diversification. The Moffat County Commissioners voted at their weekly meeting on which recommendations to pursue from the Better City economic development proposal. The Commissioners have relayed their recommendations to the Local Marketing District who will begin to take steps towards figuring out how to develop and implement them. The decision was made to focus on the formation of a manufacturing incubator and an industrial park in Moffat County, in order to promote new business, attract entrepreneurs and specifically increase textile manufacturing. According to Moffat County Commissioner Frank Moe, these recommendations are closely related so developing a plan to implement them together seemed appropriate.
