Eagle County Man Could get 100 Years for Crime Spree

logo-eagle-county-sheriffAn Eagle County man has been arrested in connection with an alleged crime spree and could face more than 100 years behind bars. 31-year-old Jesus Manuel Miranda was charged Tuesday with 18 felonies after allegedly robbing two businesses September 4th. Miranda has also been accused of shooting a man, smacking a store clerk with a handgun, stealing two cell phones and trying to flee on Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon. District Attorney Bruce Brown says if found guilty of everything he’s charged with, Miranda could receive a prison sentence of more than 100 years.
