Emergency responders pulled a man from the Yampa River south of Craig late Friday afternoon. According to Moffat County Sheriff KC Hume, a caller to 911 reported a man in the river who appeared to be drowning. Craig Fire Rescue, Craig Police and Moffat County Sheriffs officers responded to the scene. 18 year old Trystan Campbell of Craig was found unresponsive down river from Loudy-Simpson Park, and was initially believed to have died. At the Memorial Hospital doctors were able to revive Campbell. He was then taken to another hospital for treatment. His status is unknown at this time.
