Members of the Colorado House of Representatives voted Friday to expel Democrat representative Steve Lebsock over sexual harassment allegations by a vote of 52-9. The vote followed a debate which lasted most of the day Friday. In a final act of rebellion, Lebsock changed his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican hours before his expulsion. That according to the Colorado Secretary of States Office. The change means his replacement can now be named by a GOP vacancy committee, however, state Republicans have said they may decline this option. If that occurs, Democrat Governor John Hickenlooper would name Lebsock’s replacement. Pictured Steve Lebsock.
